The most common uses for Melaleuca Essential Oil are:

  • Bug Bites
  • Scalp Health
  • Tooth and Gum Health
  • Scar Tissue
  • Facial Cleanser & Balancer
  • Piercing Care
  • Seasonal Stuffiness – inhale or rub on the chest
  • Scalp Critters
  • Sooth Cracked Heels – Mix 2 drops Melaleuca with 1 teaspoon almond oil
  • Support Healing & Relieve Occasional Skin Discomfort

This is a great oil to add to your current favorites. Add a couple drops to a bottle of shampoo. Add a few drops to your body lotion or aloe vera gel. Add a few drops to your diffuser or household cleaner.

Today we are mixing up some all-purpose salve. You can use this magical lotion for everything from minor skin irration to diaper cream to supporting the normal healing process.

All Purpose Healing Salve

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cup of coconut oil (stock up, ladies)
  • 1/2 cup of Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Cup of Beeswax (always buy local when you can)
  • 15-20 drops of Melaleuca
  • 15-20 drops of Lavender

Melt your coconut oil, olive oil and beeswax over low heat in a double boiler or in a glass measuring cup placed in a saucepan with 1-2 inches of water.

Remove from heat and stir in your essential oils. Pour into a wide-mouth jar.

Use freely and with abandon. ;)
