Younique 3D Fiber Lashes Review: Worth the Investment?

Cessna Foster, Younique Independent Presenter, recently contacted me about a Younique 3D Fiber Lashes review. As this is a product I have heard so much about, yet didn’t really understand, I happily accepted. She also threw in two of their signature Pigment Colors – Gorgeous and Heart Broken.

What are 3D Fiber Lashes?
Upon ordering, you will receive a handy travel/storage kit (pictured above) that includes the Moodstruck Transplanting Gel and Moodstruck Natural Fibers.

As you can see, these both look like mascara wands. But actually, neither is! These both are applied over your usual mascara. Here is a close-up of the fibers. These will adhere to the gel.

How Do I Use 3D Fiber Lashes?
This is a 4-step process:
- Apply your usual mascara.
- Apply a coat of the Transplanting Gel.
- Before the gel dries, apply a thin layer of the fibers.
- Seal with another layer of gel.
You can apply as many layers as you would like just be sure to seal each layer with the Transplanting Gel. If you apply too many at once, they will fall onto your cheeks. You may also want to use a comb to separate your lashes if you experience any clumps (I did not).
Here are photos of one coat of the 3D Lashes applied over my usual Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes Statement Mascara.

Would I Use Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes Again?
I would! Big lashes are always in and a great mascara is worth the investment. You can skimp on eyeshadow. You can skimp on lip color. I don’t think you should skimp on mascara. Yes, this product is in addition to mascara. But considering how long they both last, I’d spend the money.
And despite the additional steps involved, the 3D Lashes took only seconds to apply.
