How to Use Joy Essential Oil

Joy is an essential oil you won’t want to miss. This is a blend unique to Young Living that includes lemon, mandarin, rose, Roman chamomile, palmarosa, jasmine, rosewood, geranium, ylang ylang and bergamot. Combined they smell heavenly.
Joy is known for being uplifting and promoting a sense of joy and peace. It may even spark a little romance!

How to Use Joy Essential Oil
This one doesn’t require anything fancy to enjoy. You can apply it straight out of the bottle to the neck, wrists and over your heart for an all natural perfume. (Many of the Premium Starter Kits come with a roller fitment. This oil is a good one to put that to use.)
Diffuse it in the home to promote a sense of togetherness. (Many of the Premium Starter Kits now come with both Joy and a home diffuser.)
Add a drop or two to your bath water to help get you to that peaceful place.
Add 10-12 drops to an unscented massage oil or other carrier like grapeseed oil for a quick (couple’s) massage.
Add a few drops to your favorite unscented lotion.
Put a few drops on a cotton ball and place in the vents of your car or room.
Rub a drop over your heart to help ease feelings of frustration.
Add a few drops to a wool dryer ball to infuse your laundry with this beautiful scent.
Mix 15 drops into 1 cup Epsom salt for an amazing bath salt.
I’ve found this one is good for my emotional state. It’s a happy oil (as is Valor and Lavender). I like it on its own, but I have seen women mix up the following recipe for a Happy Camper Roller.
- 10 drops Joy
- 10 drops Orange
- 10 drops Bergamot
Mix in a small roller bottle and fill the rest of the way with a carrier oil like grapeseed or V-6.
I love florals so this is naturally one that I gravitated to right away. I’d love to hear how you are using Joy.
