It’s time for a roundup of the best beauty products I have gotten my hands on this year. So many goodies, so little time. But here’s what made my Top 10 list.

Seaweed Pore Minimizer – I have oily, acne prone skin, so large pores and shine are always a problem. This year I discovered the Seaweed line at The Body Shop and fell in love. I use this pore minimizer before my primer for additional shine control. I also think it helps prevent breakouts.

The Body Shop Instablur – This is definitely one of my top finds of the year. Shine is gone in an instant and stays gone all day. I have even been known to carry it in my purse for a quick touchup if we have been out and about all day. It’s colorless and provides a great photo finish.

They’re Real! Mascara – While I still love my Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes for huge statement eyes, They’re Real! has become my “everyday” mascara. It’s fabulous. Great volume. Great length. No clumps.

Manna Kadar Blush – This is a lightweight, long-wearing blush available in several colors. It blends easily.

Cynthia Rowley Eyeliner in Silver – I love this eyeliner. It glides on with no pulling. The silver shimmer makes your eyes pop. When I pair it with green eye shadow and the compliments don’t stop.

Coastal Scents Eyeshadow – While you can get Coastal Scents in some big, affordable palettes, there are just a few shades I wear constantly.

  • Sea Spray
  • Deep Viridian
  • Peach Fuzz
  • Reef Coral

Malin + Goetz Lip Balm – Best. Balm. Ever. Sure you have a dozen peachy-pinky-fruit lip balms, but do you have a clear lime mojito flavored one? I can use a tube up in no time.

Acure Brightening Face Scrub – Some scrubs can be a little too irritating and harsh. Not this one. It’s the perfect blend of clay, sea kelp and exfoliants. You will look refreshed and your skin will feel smooth. You can use it up to three times per week.

Julep Bare Face – When I first got this oil cleanser from Julep I thought there is no way I can use an oil cleanser, I have oily skin. Wrong! This stuff is awesome. It leaves your skin so smooth, clean and soft. It also melts away waterproof mascara in a snap without being harsh or drying. It’s my go-to cleanser.

Tea Tree Mask – So I love the Tea Tree Mask from The Body Shop as well, but I’m not seeing available anywhere online at the moment. That leads me to believe maybe it is being replaced with something even better. If you have acne prone skin and can still find a tub, grab it. Otherwise, I would love to hear about your favorite mask in the comments.

Don’t forget a lot of beauty retailers are running After Christmas Sales this week. Check out a few of the best offers here and you may be able to pick up some of the above ideas at a huge discount.
