Time of the Month Boxes: Every28

Every28 is a new Time of the Month subscription box. It comes to us from a husband and wife team. These boxes offer a little convenience for those who maybe forget their monthly supplies on a regular basis. While I’m a Sam’s Club girl buying feminine hygiene products in bulk, I was happy to accept a box for your review when they offered.
This pretty purple box was not what I was expecting. And it arrived on the same day another pretty purple box showed up so I was initially a little concerned I had ordered way, way more stuff than I remembered. But we’re good. This box is a nice surprise from the usual discreet generic brown unmarked envelope I had anticipated.
Before we go any further, I want to make it perfectly clear this is a sample box. That was a little disappointing as it is difficult to gauge what a “real” box is going to look like. It will not look like this.
But I can still give you a good idea of what to expect based on their website.
The most popular brands and products are available. My box did include products I currently use. Your box will be priced according to the number of items you choose to receive each month.
I would have loved to have had these boxes around when I was a teenager. It’s such an embarrassing event at that age. I think something like this could help make it less traumatic. Especially considering they send chocolate (or another treat in the warmer months). I also think it would be great for college students who aren’t yet used to the buy-before-you-need grocery shopping routine.
The site makes frequent reference to sparing your husband the embarrassment of emergency trips to the store. There is even a special section just for the men, which is a little comical. My husband has had to make “tampon runs” in the past and while he has never complained or made the wrong purchases, I’ve never really thought about it from his perspective. Practice makes perfect, if you ask me.
