The Julep Box: Become a Julep Maven
I love nail polish because it gives even us shy girls a chance to get a brazen without going overboard. You can be wearing something as simple as a pair of jeans and tee, but a bold brushstroke of color on your fingertips finishes it off. Nail polish is kind of an accessory when you think about it. Not all of us love running to the salon for a professional manicure once per week however. That is where the Julep Maven program comes into play.
Julep is actually a boutique nail salon located in Washington. Therefore, you can rest assured that these toxin-free colors have been thoroughly tested in a salon setting. Julep polish features the season’s hottest colors and offers them through a monthly beauty box subscription that makes them easily accessible to women across the country.
How Does the Julep Box Work?
The Julep Maven subscription is $24.99 per month (free shipping). Each beauty box shipment includes over $40 in nail colors, treatments and tools. You are guaranteed at least two new nail polish colors every month.
When you create your account, you will complete a Style Quiz based on your fashion preferences. This profile will help the Julep system choose the colors you are most likely to love. Each month you will be able to preview the colors for each Style prior to shipping. If you don’t like Julep’s selection for you that month, you can send your box to a friend, try a different Style or skip that month. There are optional upgrades available each month as well. This will allow you to try even more products from the Julep store at a discount.
As with most subscription program, there is a rewards program available. You will receive points, or Jules, for each shipment, upgrade, birthday, Maven anniversary and more. These Jules can be redeemed for Maven boxes, color add-ons and Upgrades.
How Can I Get Free Shipping on Julep Maven Boxes?
Julep Mavens receive free shipping. Simply choose the “Free 3-5 Day Delivery” option if necessary.
Verdict
I absolutely love the Julep Maven box for not only the colorful, quality nail polish but also the nail treatments and other manicure/pedicure products. While I love a “can’t miss” color on my fingertips, these are not products I would typically invest in. In all honesty, the only time my nails get any kind of treatment is when I am paying for a manicure. This option is a lot cheaper.
