The Best Subscription Box Rewards Programs
A friend asked this week about beauty boxes that offer rewards points similar to Birchbox. While I haven’t found any that offer a program as amazing as that one (in the beauty industry anyway), there are a few companies that will reward you for purchases and referrals.
Birchbox has the best rewards program in my opinion. Get 10 points for every product you review from your monthly sub box (only takes a second). Earn 1 point for every $1 spent in the Shop. Refer your friends for 50 points. Get up to 110 points just for signing up for a Birchbox subscription! Bonus points are available throughout the year as well. 100 points equals $10 in store credit.
Bulu Box has the most comparable point structure when stacked against Birchbox. You earn points each month you remain a subscriber. You can also earn rewards points for completing reviews on featured products, referring friends, shopping in the online store and more. These add up so quickly and can be used to purchase full-size products but not boxes.
Julep not only offers nail polish and products these days, they are also featuring beauty and skin care items. Mavens earn points for being a subscriber, on purchases, for referring friends, on their birthday and more. “Jules” can be redeemed for boxes, add-ons and upgrades.
Ipsy has a rewards program for referrals only. Points can only be redeemed for select bonus products that can be added to your monthly Glam Bag. While this may not be the best rewards program, in my opinion, I do love their Glam Bags.
Lip Factory offers rewards in the same manner as Birchbox. Points can be used to purchase full-size products or free beauty kits. Lip Factory subscriptions are $22 per month.
Love with Food is a gourmet food program. Review products from your monthly box for points. Refer your friends and earn 500 points. Subscribers pay only $10 per month and points can be used for full-size items.
Glossybox recently introduced a GlossyDots program. Earn 20 Dots for reviews and up to 1,000 Dots for referring a friend. 1,000 Dots = a free Glossybox.
Ellie’s Fit Fashionista Club will give you 2,000 Ellie Points for every friend you refer that makes a purchase. 2,000 Points = $20 in Ellie store credit!
Wantable has a new referral program. For every friend you refer who becomes a subscriber you earn $10 in credit. These earnings can then be applied towards free boxes ($40 for one-time jewelry, accessories and makeup box purchases).
Fabletics offers a few ways to earn rewards points. Refer a new VIP member and receive 500 points. Earn 2 points for every dollar spent on the site. Earn 20 points for leaving feedback on your purchases. 1,000 points equals one free outfit for you!
