A friend asked this week about beauty boxes that offer rewards points similar to Birchbox. While I haven’t found any that offer a program as amazing as that one (in the beauty industry anyway), there are a few companies that will reward you for purchases and referrals.

Bulu Box has the most comparable point structure when stacked against Birchbox. You earn points each month you remain a subscriber. You can also earn rewards points for completing reviews on featured products. These add up so quickly and can be used to purchase full-size products but not boxes.

Julep not only offers nail polish and products these days, they are also featuring beauty and skin care items. Mavens earn points for being a subscriber, on purchases, for referring friends, on their birthday and more. “Jules” can be redeemed for boxes, add-ons and upgrades.

Ipsy has a rewards program for referrals only. Points can only be redeemed for select products. While this may not be the best rewards program, in my opinion, I do love their Glam Bags.

Beauty Army is one of the few “choose your own samples” programs. Their rewards program includes referrals, length of subscription, surveys and more. Each type of reward is tied to a specific discount; free months or store discounts.

Whimseybox ships a DIY project to your mailbox each month. Earn credit for referrals that can be applied towards future boxes or store purchases. The cost is $15 per month. Receive $5 off with my referral link.

Conscious Box is a natural lifestyle box featuring beauty, snacks, household products and more. Review the featured products for points that can be used to purchase full-size items.

Daily Dose of Green offers green household, skin care, cosmetics and more. This one is $15 per month and points can be used to purchase full-size products.

Lip Factory points can be used to purchase full-size products or free beauty kits. Lip Factory subscriptions are $22 per month.

Love with Food is a gourmet food program. Subscribers pay only $10 per month and points can be used for full-size items.

Beauty Box 5 is a bargain beauty box at only $12 per month. You only earn rewards for referrals, but each five friends referred will get you a free box.

Glossybox recently introduced a GlossyDots program. Earn 20 Dots for reviews and 200 Dots for referring a friend. 1,000 Dots = a free Glossybox.

Ellie’s Fit Fashionista Club will give you 2,000 Ellie Points for every friend you refer that makes a purchase. 2,000 Points = $20 in Ellie store credit!

Wantable has a new referral program. For every friend you refer, you earn $1. When that friend becomes a subscriber, you earn an additional $9 ($10 total). These earnings can then be applied towards free boxes ($40 for one-time jewelry and makeup box purchases).
