Studio Gear Hydrating CC Cream Review & Discount

There are so many types of foundation and moisturizer on the market it is hard to know which products are best for you. This can especially be the case when it comes to BB, CC and even DD creams.
CC generally stands for Color Correcting. This product is meant to even out skin tone and address dark spots and redness. CC creams are usually lighter weight than BBs and may be worn along or under foundation.
I recently had the opportunity to try Studio Gear Hydrating CC Cream. I do have some sunspots and redness so this is a beauty product I have used frequently in the past. A few features of the Studio Gear cream include:
- Protects: SPF 20
- Perfects: Enjoy natural looking coverage while micro-encapsulated pigments perfects and fade dark spots and acne scarring.
- Corrects: Anti-aging and collagen building ingredients help minimize fine lines and wrinkles.
- Hydrates: Hydra-Extend technology provides up to 72 hours of continuous hydration.
- Conceals: Micro encapsulated pigments deliver a fresh dose of color that adapts to your own skin tone, creating the most natural looking coverage.
- Smoothes: Skin nourishing ingredients help to correct and maintain youthful complexion.

The color sent to me was Linen. This is the lightest shade available of the three. (Natural and Wheat are the other two shades.) If you are not familiar with CC creams these are really fun. They start out white and as you blend the little micro-beads of color pop open and match your skin tone.

This is a non-oily product but it does leave a dewy finish. I have oily skin but I didn’t experience a late-day oil slick like I do with some products. I also did not apply any daily moisturizer with the Studio Gear CC Cream and the hydrating feature did its job.
I usually wear these alone with no additional foundation. And for me at least, these always leave me looking a little tan. (After a long winter, I’ll take the color!) I’ve seen some girls refer to it as a “glow.”
I really liked this one. I will definitely use the bottle to the last drop. One thing I really love about these self-adjusting creams of today is that you do not need to worry about changing shades numerous times throughout the year. As your skin tone changes with the seasons, so do they.
