Stitch Fix Review: Personal Stylist Service
My fourth Stitch Fix arrived today. This is a personal stylist service that hand-selects and ships five women’s clothing items per month at a $20 styling fee. You can then keep (and pay) for what you like and send the remaining items back at no charge. I have had some hits and misses with Stitch Fix and had high hopes for this box after keeping everything from my last one.
Inside every box you will find a styling card and personal note from your stylist. As usual, my box included five items – no jewelry this time.
I had peeked at what was coming and was really looking forward to this RD Style Laurel Faux Leather Trim Drape Cardigan. Sadly, I don’t like it. I think the trim makes it look cheap. At $74 it’s going back.
These Level 99 Giovanni Straight Leg Jeans are cute. But, they are brown. I gravitate more towards cooler colors so these won’t match 99% of what’s currently in my closet. For $98 I would need to be able to wear them more to keep (without a complete closet overhaul).
The Octavia Betty Chevron Infinity Scarf is bound to be a popular item this month. I’m not a huge chevron print lover however. This item is $32.
Oh how I love the Kensie Elizah Scoop Neck Lace Panel Sweater, except for the color. This is such a delicate fabric and the lace panels are very stylish. I really want to keep it but I’m not sure how long I would be able to keep it white. I’m kind of clumsy. For $78 I would need to get quite a few wears.
This is the second time I have received a shirt like this Collective Concept Finch Floral & Dot Print Tab-Sleeve Blouse. I really, really don’t like how it fits. I also don’t know how much I care for the print. At $68 it is for sure going back.
This is another one of those months were I would ship everything back if it didn’t mean losing my $20 styling fee. Unfortunately that means I am going to get stuck with something I don’t really love. At these prices, that’s a double bummer. That being said, the items are always such great quality. And setting up a dedicated Pinterest Board for my stylist has made a big difference in what I’m receiving. We just haven’t gotten it perfect yet.
