From the Lab is a unique subscription beauty box in that they ship pre-release European beauty products. As a member you will get your hands on some fabulous finds about 18 months before anyone else!

September From the Lab Review

From the Lab ships monthly and usually includes two full-size items – one to three items is their promise. These are 30-day supplies of high end products. For the most part, these are skin care and occasionally hair care items. (See some past reviews here.) If you like the products you can then purchase them at a discount through the shop.

My September box included two items. One was a skin care product. The other was a cosmetic, which we don’t see too often.

From the Lab September

Nourishing Hydration Balm No. 624 ($39.95?) – This is really unique product. As the name suggests, this is an ultra-hydrating formula. The ingredients list features Raspberry Steam Cell Extract, Murumuru Butter, Apricot Oil, Vitamin E and Organic Evening Primrose Seed Oil. This magical lotion is going to moisturize while combating fine lines and evening skin tone.

Now, what really makes this balm unique it how you can use it! You can use it as a face cleanser, overnight mask, body moisturizer or quick pick-me-up. You can even use it as a hair mask. I love multi-purpose products!

Eyelift Primer No. 328 ($29.95) – This was a bonus item and apparently one of the co-founder’s personal favorites. You can use it alone, instead of eye shadow, or use it as a primer to minimize fine lines and increase your eye shadow’s staying power.

The ingredients for this one includes Para Cress Flower Extract and Coffee Extract.

This box had an estimated retail value of just under $70. From the Lab is currently $19.95 per month and you will also receive $10 free to spend in the shop when you sign up.

I receive a lot of requests for subscription boxes for middle age and older women. I would definitely recommend this one. The products are usually geared more towards anti-aging properties.
