September Beauty Box 5 Review & Free Box Code

It’s time for another Beauty Box 5 review. This beauty membership falls into the cheap subscription box category at just $12 per month. Despite its small price, the boxes are almost always big on value.

September Beauty Box 5

The September theme was Balancing Act and it included a few products perfect for fall.

Natural Style by FUBU – One bad thing about Beauty Box 5 is that it isn’t really profile-specific. This deep conditioner & co-wash sample is not something I’d attempt on my fine hair. While the 8 repairing oils & shea butter may be great for some, it isn’t for me. I’ll pass these foil packets along.

Chrislie Formulations 3-in-1 Eye Bright – I am excited about this product however. I don’t usually use eye serums because I have oily skin. Even the tiniest bit of extra moisturizer can ruin my makeup in an instant. This one however, you use at night. It’s definitely going on my nightstand.

My Beauty Spot Nail Polish – BB5 has been pretty good lately at sending polishes I can’t find elsewhere on the internet. This brand is unfamiliar to me and the color is not marked on the bottle once again. It’s a pretty dark red and a fast-drying formula. Since I don’t know anything about the brand or ingredients, I can only assume this isn’t a “-free” formula.

Nicka K New York Eyelight Crayon – This was a spoiler and I was hoping to receive this color.

Sally Hansen Toe Spacers – I needed these! I always love when a subscription box sends me something I need but keep forgetting to buy.

Beauty Box 5 Free Box Code

This box exceeded the $12 investment. I found a few keepers. If you order now you can still get the August box free with any new subscription when you use code AUGUSTFREE.

What do you think: keep or pass?
