October From the Lab Review: Contouring Body Treatment

My October From the Lab box arrived on Friday. This is a beauty box subscription that sources pre-release luxury items from Europe giving you the opportunity to try them first at a huge discount (up to 80%). This month’s featured product was Contouring Body Treatment No. 634.

From the Lab always ships full-size items so you have a full 30-day supply of the featured products.
Body firming products are huge right now. It’s not something I would normally purchase for myself so I was excited to try this one. The ingredients list includes caffeine, ivy and alga extracts, mineral seawater, shea butter, castor seed oil and coconut oil.

The information sheet labels this product as a “massage treatment.” I was a little concerned that it also described it as “almost tacky,” but I didn’t find the texture tacky at all. While it was thick and creamy, I didn’t find it sticky.
No. 634 can be applied all over the body. You will want to concentrate on your trouble areas, of course (thighs, butt, stomach). It does take a little work to get the lotion fully absorbed but the card recommends bringing it along to your next massage. (Sounds good! I’m already scheduled for next Saturday.)
I liked this one. I appreciate a thicker lotion in the winter months and I certainly found this one hydrating. It wasn’t sticky so it is something I could use everyday.
This full-size tube is valued at $70+. From the Lab members pay only $19.95 per month (plus S&H). Visit the site to start your subscription today.
Did you try Contouring Body Treatment No. 634? What were your thoughts?
