November Conscious Box Review
Conscious Box has recently undergone some rebranding and contacted us for an updated review. We were happy to accept (and see the new design).
If you are new to Conscious Box, this is a subscription box in the healthy living industry. Their featured samples are non-GMO food, beauty, bath and home items. It’s available in two sizes; Taster (5-8 products) or Plus (12-12 products). Subscribers can also choose Classic, Vegan or Gluten-Free.
Pretty new box that reflects the Conscious Box brand and message. The bottom of the box encourages you to recycle. Once opened we see a healthy living message and quite a few samples.
One thing I notice right off the bat – it’s the first thing I always look for – no product info card. That’s a bummer. Everything in here is new to me and I always like learning more about the product and the company behind it. Several items I had to Google to get more info.
Let’s do a quick rundown of the samples:
Primal Pit Paste in Lavender – After a quick search this is an all-natural deodorant.
Justin’s Maple Almond Butter – No search needed for this. We love Justin’s!
LYFT Clean Caffeine – This is a two-pack of energy stir sticks. This is a zero calorie product made from green coffee bean extract.
Bolt Tape – I had to seek this one out. I thought it was one of those muscle ache relief tapes, and I was right. It is supposed to last for three days, even if you shower. Definitely saving this one back.
Life Soap in Lavender – I could smell the lavender immediately upon opening the box. So relaxing.
Xlear Saline Nasal Spray – I like saline nasal spray, but I wish I knew more about this one. It contains Xylitol. When I read up on the Xlear site it talks a lot about how Xylitol is believe to prevent tooth decay. I’m not quite sure what that has to do with saline spray.

Treat Simple Peanut Butter & Banana Dog Treats – peanut butter and banana is one of our dogs favorite flavors. He is digging these.

Somersets Shaving Oils in Extra Sensitive and Extra Delicate
Amki Sesame Snaps – While this one only has three ingredients (sesame seeds, glucose syrup and sugar), we no longer eat two of them (glucose syrup and sugar). These will get passed along.
This is a nice box! If I had paid the $19.95 (free shipping) I think I would be happy. I do hope the product insert was simply overlooked however. That’s a must-have for a discovery box!
