November Birchbox Review: Giving
This was another exciting month of special curations and sample choices over at Birchbox. The November special edition box was a collaboration with BuzzFeedLife. As I had already received a few of these items, I opted for the shaRED box. As a result, I could choose from the below samples:
I picked the Not Soap, Radio Joy-Inducing Body Wash. It smells delightful! Very citrusy. The rest of my box looked like this:
Mirenesse iCurl Secret Weapon 24-Hour Mascara – Wow. I wasn’t expecting this sample. It’s a fabulous mascara with big curl. Love it. But you are definitely going to need…
MAKE Eye Makeup Remover – I have heard a lot of complaints about the new mascara formulas being so hard to remove. And, it’s true! However, they are so wonderful you shouldn’t deny yourself because of this one little thing. I have found an oil-based remover best for taking them off (I use Julep Bare Face, but I have heard of girls using something as simple as coconut oil or baby wipes as well).
Harvey Prince Hello Shampoo & Conditioner – So I have been sick of receiving this perfume sample over and over again in subscription boxes but I’m cool with getting this hair duo. It’s another citrus scent so I will smell especially lemon-y stepping out of my next shower.
Bonus: Firecracker ChocoPods – This yummy little treat combines a lot of great flavors – chocolate, sea salt, chili and those Pop Rock-like things we all loved as kids.
For $10 I am very pleased with this box. I won’t be sharing this time and that’s always a good sign in the subscription box world.
