NewBeauty Test Tube Review
TestTube is a beauty subscription from the magazine NewBeauty. The box, or tube, is to include deluxe and full-size samples from top beauty brands. It ships six times per year. The company kindly sent us over a box to review.
The first thing I noticed is the products, at least in this box, tend to be geared more towards women mid-30s and up. Most of the items target wrinkles and hydration, things you aren’t necessarily concerned with in your early 20s.
Hada Labo Tokyo Replenishing Hydrator – This is a full-size item ($17.99). It contains three types of Hyalauronic Acid and is free of parabens, fragrances, dyes and mineral oils. It’s lightweight and long-lasting.
dr. brandt needles no more – I’m a big fan of dr. brandt products though I don’t necessarily need a wrinkle cream (yet).
Glo Therapeutics Gentle Cream Cleanser – I’m always happy to try new cleansers. This is a gentle cream-based cleanser good for sensitive skin. This is a nice little sample size as well.
Patchology Hydrate FlashMasque Facial Sheets – I’m not a fan of facial mask sheets. Perhaps because I don’t have the patience to sit there for that long. This one however only requires five minutes as opposed to the usual 10-20.
It’s a 10 Silk Express Miracle Silk Leave-In – I have really thin hair so I avoid leave-in treatments. Someone’s going to love this however.
Tan Towels – I love when summer rolls around and so do the self-tanners. Things have certainly changed over the years! Tan Towel comes in various sizes and strengths based on the application. This box also includes the X-Foliator towelettes. Nice!
Lids by Design Medical Grade Instant Eyelid Correcting Strips – These are sure interesting. Use these little strips for an instant eyelid lift.
