Mia Mariu is a direct selling company offering botanical skincare products and cosmetics. They recently sent over their Perfecting Finish Mineral Primer, a Perfecting Finish Mineral Cream Concealer and a Perfecting Finish Mineral Foundation for my review.
Mia Mariu offers several shades in their foundation and concealer. The website has an interactive wizard to help you choose your perfect colors. The shades I received were Vanilla in both the concealer and foundation.
The Perfecting Finish Mineral Primer is an oil-free formula, but it was far different than the primers I have been using. Rather than having a powder finish, this one feels and goes on more like a moisturizer.
The Perfecting Finish Mineral Cream Concealer and Perfecting Finish Mineral Foundation are also oil-free. I found these a little too heavy for my personal preferences. This is a true foundation as opposed to a BB or CC cream.
These blended well together, though I did have to work with them a lot more than my usual products. Sometimes thicker formulas want to sit on the top of the skin. While that is great for creating an even skin tone, it can accentuate large pores and blemishes.
Though these are not items I would choose for the summer months, I would certainly revisit them in cooler months when more moisturizing and heavier products are in order.
