Memebox (pronounced mi-mi) is a beauty box featuring Korean products. I have seen this one around occasionally so when they offered to send a box over for my review, I happily accepted.
Memebox is a one-time shipment as opposed to a subscription. You can pick and choose which boxes you want to receive. And they have plenty to choose from! Most boxes are priced $20-$40. (Shipping est. $6.99)
The company sent me Colorbox #2, which is now sold out. This one featured orange-colored cosmetics and was priced at $15.
In the box I found:
Dearberry Flirt Lipstick 06 Million Dollar Orange – The ingredients list includes olive oil, cocoa butter, cupuacu seed butter. I’m not much for orange lipstick so I was happy to see that wasn’t quite the case as you will see in the below swatch.
Dearberry Today Nail Laquer in Grapefruit Smoothie – This is a nice creamy orange color.
L’OCEAN eye shadow in Pastel Orange – Orange eye shadow is not something I would ever purchase for myself, but I really like this color.
Tosowoong Bronze Spectrum Waterproof Gel Pencil Liner in Sunshine – Very pretty metallic eyeliner!
Again, this was not a box I would have chosen for myself but I’m very surprised how much I love these colors. I would definitely go back for the Blue Colorbox or Rose Scentbox. There is also a Free from Oil & Troubles Superbox that I’m interested in. Who am I fooling? There are several boxes over there I have bookmarked. These are so fun – like a Polyvore collage in a box.
