May Clean Bar Box Review

We love handmade soaps. Not only are they free from nasty chemicals, in most cases, they also come in handy for a number of household uses other than just washing your hands or bathing. (We can talk about that below.)

Clean Bar Box is the latest subscription to enter this category. They sent us over the May box to review.

May Clean Bar Box

The subscription is available in three options:

  • Four bars for $19.99 per month – two full-size bars, two mini bars
  • Three bars for $14.99 per month – one full-size bar, two mini bars
  • Four bars bi-monthly for $19.99 – two full-size bars, two mini bars shipped every other month

We received the four-bar box. I don’t think there is anything better than opening a box of handmade soap. The scents are intoxicating.

One thing that really stood out to me about this box was how well the soaps were packaged individually. Each had its own box or sack to prevent any co-mingling during shipping.

Clean Bar Box Review

The honeysuckle soap was my favorite. As the colors reflect, it’s a bright and invigorating fragrance. I loved it.

The African Violet soap is a little more subtle but definitely a great choice for spring.

The cherry almond mini bar is fantastic. And I love these little bars. They are the perfect size to slip into a drawer or your sneakers to freshen things up.

The second mini bar was white tea mint soap. It’s a refreshing spring scent. This one I might grate up to use when making shave lotion.

Right now, you can get 10% a new Clean Bar Box subscription when using code MYCLEANBOX10. And be sure to tell us in the comments of any unique uses you have for yummy bar soaps.
