Lo Bosworth Birchbox Review (+ New Holiday Gift Coupons)
My December Birchbox seemed to take forever to arrive. I assume holiday shipping has the postal service slowing down on things like media mail so I won’t fault Birchbox. Anyway, I had forgotten what I had even chosen as my December Birchbox (you have the opportunity to do that now). Apparently I opted for this month’s special guest feature – The Lodown by Lo Bosworth.
Lo’s box was to include party-ready products to get you “glammed up and out the door.” Inside I found:
Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre – I think this must be the product that made me choose this box selection. This is a multi-purpose product that acts as both a primer, moisturizer and a makeup remover. Interesting. The tube is pretty small however. I can’t imagine you would get one or two removals from this one.
Ruffian Nail Lacquer in RUFFIAN Red – Ruffian has been a frequent feature in Birchbox. The color is a little on the orange side of red. This is full size however. This product alone covers your box cost.
Joie Folle de Joie Eau de Parfum – Two great scents in my mailbox today! I really diggin’ this one, too. It’s a blend of madarin, rose and sandalwood. Nice.
Cynthia Rowley Creamy Lip Stain – I have gotten these stains in past boxes and I don’t care for them. I don’t care for lip stains in the first place however. Passing along.
Davines Replumping Hair Filler Superactive – This one has me excited as well. It’s a leave-in treatment to thicken and nourish the hair. This is a good size bottle. It also came with bonus sample packs of the accompanying shampoo and conditioner.
For a $10 box I am always impressed with the brands Birchbox is able to feature. They truly get their hands on some really great stuff. And, their Points program can’t be beat. Review your features for 10 points each. 100 points equals $10 to spend in the store. That’s $60 in free product each year. And you can bet I use it!
