Little Black Bag recently underwent a big overhaul. This membership is a little different with a lot to offer for those seeking fashion accessories, handbags, shoes and beauty products.
How Does Little Black Bag Work?
Once you hit the Little Black Bag website you choose one item from among the available handbags, shoes, accessories, beauty products, home décor items and more. Little Black Bag will then select up to three additional surprise items based on your style preferences. After placing your order you will then be able to see what the additional items are. If you don’t like them, you can then start trading with other Little Black Bag members for other items. If you do like them, simply tell them to go ahead and ship your order.
You can opt for a one-time purchase, or increase your savings with a VIP subscription. VIPs are charged $9.95 per month. In turn, they receive $10 in store credit that can be used that month or accumulated for a later date. You can skip a month any time.
Obviously one of the big complaints with Little Black Bag is the trading system. I don’t blame them, but it is not mandatory so I plan to bypass that stage and just have the extra items shipped immediately and consider them your usual surprise gifts – like the majority of the other programs I subscribe to. With up to 70% savings, these things can be given as gifts, given to charity or sold online through a site like Tradesy if I don’t like them.
I do not know that I can resist this one. I am a sucker for handbags and shoes. I also love a fabulous bracelet. I love them even more when you are getting brands like Big Buddha and Steve Madden at up to 70% savings. Most of the handbags and shoes I liked in the Gallery were $35 – $50 before shipping ($4.95). I think that is entirely reasonable. Rolling that $10 membership fee over for a few months would get me a new handbag or pair of shoes every 4-6 months.
