Let me introduce you to LimeLight cosmetics. If you haven’t already heard of or tried their stuff do some research and try it out. They have been around for a long time but just recently available to the public as of 2015. These formulas have been used by makeup professionals for decades. The best part about these cosmetics is how highly pigmented they are. They provide amazing coverage don’t clump or bleed and blend super easy.
After sampling several items I’m going to review my favorites so I can share the love with my readers. My favorite products are the Botanical foundation, Bamboo Renew, Skin Therapist moisturizer, 40 Cure Cream body cream and the Make-Off Makeup Remover Cloth.
The ultimate foundation you guys! Let me just say foundation can be a real struggle. My experience with this product is RUN don’t walk to try this amazing gem. This Mineral Oil Free, Lanolin Oil Free, Fragrance Free creme foundation is perfect for dry to oily to sensitive skin. The consultant I’m working with matched my skin to the right shade perfectly without even seeing me in person!
Normally I would lean toward an olive tone but according to this chart Shinto 1 was my perfect shade. Let me tell you it is a PERFECT match and looks flawless. The reason this product is so fabulous is the coverage is so good without looking heavy. However you can build it up if need be and it looks beautiful.
Another huge bonus is this foundation does not move no matter how much humidity or heat is happening. Because it’s a wax based it does not sink into your skin which means it doesn’t accent every little line. LOVE LOVE this.
Bamboo Renew exfoliator comprised of walnut shell powder, Bamboo, and a refreshing essential oil blend of Lemongrass, Mimosa Flower, and Litsea is one of my favorite products from LimeLight. This product was honestly probably one of the best exfoliators I’ve ever used. No lie. It was the perfect texture and left a subtle oil on the skin and was a nice surprise because you don’t typically expect that in an exfoliator. The scent was so pleasant and my skin felt great. Highly recommend!!!
The Skin Therapist is a hydrating moisturizer that restores natural to dry or mature skin. It replenishes dry, aged and inflamed skin cells. Made from pomegranate and oat which soothes and replenishes skin. Safflower Oil and Evening Primrose are great hydrators for skin cells. This is such a fabulous product to incorporate into your skincare routine.
40 Cure Cream is a velvety body cream that gets it’s name from Forty Cure Tree. It smells like Lavender, Sweet Orange and Egyptian Rose created to deliver deep hydration and protection. This body moisturizer is so so good. Smells good and brings skin back to life!
Make up remover cloth has given me something to think about! I always use Neutrogena face wipes and I mean ALWAYS. Since I review beauty products I’ve sample other face wipes and I tend to always go back to my tried and true Neutrogena. These LimeLight face wipes kind of crush those….they are bigger, thicker and stay damp longer. They also smell like cucumber which is just a bonus in itself because a good scented product is important to me. Clean and crisp.
