KKW x Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kit
Unless you’ve been living under a rock you’ve probably been seeing these Kylie Cosmetics lip kit launches and possibly even bought some for yourselves. Personally I see them happening but have never really been interested in buying. One reason is I like to try colors on before purchasing because I’m typically picky about lip products. The other reason is these lip kits sell out in a matter of minutes. I don’t have the energy to watch the clock to order before something gets sold out. I can’t think of too many things I would ever stop time for just to make sure I bought one before they sell out. I made the exception this time. In fact I tried to order the first launch and they sold out before I logged my order in so I tried again when they re-stocked. Bing Bang Money. It took a longggg time to get them so just a fyi if you are hanging around waiting to see them appear within the week.
However, I started seeing this lip kit around social media and I was interested. A neutral lip color is something everyone should have in their makeup bag. For the past couple years I have been searching for one that I liked and just haven’t been able to find one. I have to say I actually really really love these colors, some more than others, but as far as a great nude roundup this collection is a must have.

My favorite of all of them is Kiki. It is just the perfect neutral pink shade on my skin tone. I don’t have a lot of natural pink undertones in my skin so that color brightens my face and gives me a pretty natural look. It’s not to pink not to nude and it’s the exact shade I had been searching for but couldn’t find. The one I like the least is Kimberly because for me it almost erases my lips if you know what I mean. It does nothing for me so if I ever use it I will have to mix it with something else or layer it.
As far as the texture it does describe it as a creme liquid lipstick. It’s not as velvety as I would probably prefer and it goes on in a thinner coat than I expected but I will say it does have a staining quality that I love because when it starts to wear off your lips the color is still kind of visible.
