July From the Lab Review: Summer Essentials Collection

I have anxiously been awaiting the arrival of the July From the Lab box since they let out a spoiler. This month was their one year anniversary and this was to be a box packed to the brim with their Summer Essentials.

July From the Lab

They let us know what products were arriving this month, but I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them. From the Lab products are so unique. You never know what to expect.

AM/PM Cleanser No. 586 – This was the first surprise. It looks like a toner but it’s actually a cleanser, makeup remover and toner in one. This is a go-anywhere product that requires no rinsing. Just soak a cotton pad and wipe away the grime. This is a keeper!

Face Primer No. 327 – As I experiment more and more with primers I have become aware of just how different they can be. I have tried those that are more like a liquid powder and then there are ones like this that have more of a moisturizer-feel.

This cream dries clear and is supposed to provide a high definition finish. It says you can wear it in place of foundation, though I don’t know I have the even skin tone to pull that off.

Hair Mask No. 718 – This stuff smells delightful, and I love that there are multiple ways to use it. You can apply it to dry hair and leave on for 10-30 minutes before cleansing, or you can use it as a deep conditioner on clean, wet hair for 5 minutes. Use 1-2 times per week to combat damage and dryness.

Face Mask No. 598 – This was another item with some surprises. First, it smells amazing – very clean and fresh. It has a gel-like texture and it is a moisture mask. Leave it on your skin for 15-20 minutes, massage in, then rinse. Your skin is going to feel great!

Hydrating Lip Primer No. 629 – If you signed up for From the Lab by July 9, you also received a bonus item. (That’s why you need to sign up for my newsletter. So you don’t miss out on these things.) This product can be worn under your lipstick, stain or gloss or alone. It contains peptides and raspberry cultured stem cells. It is supposed to leave your lips plump, moisturized and more youthful. It definitely leaves them feeling silky.

With a retail value of $255+ I don’t see how there could be any complaints about this box. This one is still available! You can order it here.

What did you think of this month’s box?
