Julep Party’s Over Review: Is It Really Better Than Foil?
I have had my eye on the Julep Party’s Over Kit since it was announced. I love glitter polish, but I don’t wear it often because it is such a pain to remove. You may currently be using the foil method, but that can also be lengthy hassle – especially for the uncoordinated like myself! When the Party’s Over Glitter Remover Kit was available as an add-on for March, I jumped at the opportunity. Let’s give them a whirl, shall we?
The Foil Method
The Party’s Over Kit comes with ten plastic nail tips and five packets of remover pads. Each packet contains ten pads.
Apply one pad to each nail and slip the tip over the top.
Leave on 3 to 5 minutes and remove. I waited the full five minutes.
Tada! I was surprised at the results. Even with the foil method I am often left with a little scrubbing. Not this time. And I was able to do all ten nails at once since the application was so easy, a task not so easy with foil.
This is a great investment for those who wear glitter polish often. The kit contains enough pads for five polish changes. The refills, also five packets of ten pads, are only $8 for Mavens. This one gets five stars from me!
