Jaunt Box: Detroit Beta Open

I came across this very cool box today and had to share. This one is called Jaunt and it combines journalism with the subscription boxes we know and love. The owners have coined it “tactile journalism.” Here is how it works:
- They spot a cool local story (Jaunt is currently located in Detroit with hopes of expansion).
- You read the digital version online.
- A print version arrives by mail with a box of “artifacts” relating to each story.
The first “issue” contained seven items. I won’t spoil the surprises as this box is still available for ordering, but you can find a spoiler at the bottom of each online article.
I’m a nerdy bookworm so Jaunt is right up my alley. The cost is $60 (plus $3.60 shipping). This is currently a one-time payment though you will receive an email notification when the next issue is available.
