We have been receiving NatureBox for months and months now. It’s one of our favorite foodie subs. Since we started eating more gluten-free, low carb and clean, this is one of the few that offers snacks that meet our preferences.

I went a little overboard this month, choosing not only my five allotted items but also two extras. Our deluxe box is $19.95 per month. Add-ons are $5 each.

We use NatureBox to supplement our weekday breakfast a lot so I usually try to choose a dried fruit, a nut and a granola. Recently three oatmeal varieties were made available so I picked up a 3-pack of Pumpkin Seed, Raisin and Oatmeal this time. This is only available as an add-on, but $5 for 3 single serve bowls is comparable to what you get in the grocery store.

Cherry Berry Bonanza is a frequent purchase. I add this to my husband’s morning oatmeal.

Flax Fortune Coins were not something I ordered. The past two months I have picked popular new items for my boxes. As my box ships at the end of the month, every so often these are sold out by the time my turn rolls around. I had ordered the Pumpkin Spice Noms Noms. NatureBox replaced them with these. I wish they would have just sent a different flavor of Noms Noms instead (those babies rock!).

Blueberry Greek Yogurt Pretzels never last long. These are new to NatureBox and one of our favorites. They are freakin’ amazing.

Ancient Grains Granola has a vanilla-coconut flavor. Ingredients include quinoa, spelt and kamut. It’s oh so good on Greek yogurt in the morning.

Honey Crunch Crisps are another substitution. My Garlic Plantains were out of stock so they sent this instead. Again, I wish they would have picked something different. Maybe something from the savory selections to replace my plantains.

Chipotle Maple Almonds – yum! I love the flavored nuts NatureBox offers. Always so unique.

So we don’t always choose low carb and gluten-free, but we’re snacking better just the same.
