January Modern Beauty Julep Review
My January Julep Maven box arrived already today. This month I opted for the Modern Beauty option with an add-on. Several new nail care products were introduced this month. And we saw a pretty new box design!
Julep VANISH Cuticle Softener & Remover – Apply a few drops to each clean nail. Push back the cuticle with an orangewood stick or Julep Cuticle Pusher. Another great bonus, this product also helps remove residual nail color stains. If you experiment with a lot of dark colors through the Maven program, you know this is a much needed feature!
Julep Essential Cuticle Oil – My hands require extra care during the winter months. The cold, dry Nebraska air does them no favors. If I don’t keep on top of moisturizing I quickly develop hangnails and rough skin. I love the roller applicator! The Vitamin E and botanical blend absorb quickly. It’s kind of got a funky smell, but if you went out and saw “American Hustle” over the holiday you know there is something irresistible when you mix “sweet and sour.” 
This one is going on my bedside table.
TA DA! Quick Dry Drops – This is a comeback product and one I was especially excited about. I’m usually doing on my nails on my way out the door. Apply a few drops at the base of your nail after your final coat of polish. Love it. I’m impatient so I suffer a lot of smudges. This product nips that problem in the bud. And it also contains Vitamin E and botanical oils to keep your nails in tip-top shape.
Julep Cuticle Pusher – This product is new and was an add-on this month. It’s made of a bacteria-resistant Teflon and the rounded edges make it gentle on the cuticle. It is not currently available for sale on the site, so keep your eyes peeled.
