Handmade Bath & Body Subscription Box: Ophelia’s Apothecary & Perfumery

There is a huge demand for handmade beauty products right now. Consumers want to not only know that the ingredients in the products they are putting on their bodies are safe, many are also actively looking to support small business owners. As a result, we have seen a few subscription boxes popping up in the homemade niche.

Ophelia’s Apothecary & Perfumery may have a limited product line, but the company seems to be acquiring quite a following of raving fans. The owner started out offering her handmade bath & body products on Etsy and recently moved to her own website. In addition to body scrubs and lip balms, you will also find a monthly subscription box available.

I have not personally had the opportunity to try this one yet, but following OAandP’s Facebook Page has enlightened me to a few more pieces of information about this program. For starters, she also partners with other creatives from time-to-time when creating the boxes. For instance, June subscribers may be receiving an item from a metal jewelry crafter. Ophelia’s Apothecary & Perfumery also has a few other subscriptions available as well, though those are not listed on the website currently. You will only spot the details on Facebook. Monthly lip balm and soap bars were two I saw offered.
