Greek Pack Review: Monthly Taste of Greece

Local tasting boxes is one of the hottest categories in subscription boxes. Every month you have the opportunity to try the flavors of a foreign land, or perhaps get a taste of home. Greek Pack is one of the newest members of this category, offering a monthly culinary experience from Greece. The company kindly sent us over a box to review.
Much to my surprise, this box actually arrived from Greece! Not something I was expecting. The goods arrived intact however. And tasty.
As the packaging is in Greek, I’ll start from the back left. First up were some yummy breadsticks from Mikio. These were a cheese flavor (graviera & feta). Very tasty!
Next was an interesting white, disc-shaped goodie. The center is a sweet marshmallowy confection with nuts. It’s pressed between two wafers. So good!
These potato chips are so interesting. They are gyro-yogurt sauce flavor. Two of my favorite things, but not a chip flavor we see here in the states. It’s different!
Lifedrops were not my thing. One thing that changes so much as you travel around the world is chewing gum. This one has a pine-like flavor.
The little brown package is halva. This one is sesame halva with cocoa. It’s a dessert bar made with tahini. The texture is a little crumbly, but that’s how it’s supposed to be.
You can’t go wrong with honey!
Pasteli is the final find and another confection made from sesame seeds and honey.
This was such an interesting box. The monthly plan is $22.99 plus $5 shipping & handling. Use code BEAUTYBOX to save 10% through July 14. Start your subscription here.
