From the Lab Review August: Body Serum

My August From the Lab shipment just arrived. If you are unfamiliar with this new beauty subscription, From the Lab gives subscribers the opportunity to try full size products approximately 18 months before they hit the shelves. My featured product this month was Body Serum No. 580.

One thing I am enjoying about From the Lab is their focus on antioxidant and anti-aging. The product profile states the plant-based ingredients in this body serum stimulate collagen and elastin and improve elasticity. It is applied to dry skin after showering.

Body Serum Review

I was a little concerned with “stickiness” as is common with products similar to this. That wasn’t the case however. The serum went on smooth and absorbed quickly.  The scent was very light and doesn’t compete with other scented products or fragrances.

I was a bit worried as I couldn’t remember the cost of From the Lab, but charter memberships are currently only $19.95. That isn’t a bad price at all for a full-size body serum. A quick search on DermStore will show similar products are priced $35 – $90. Not too shabby.
