Friday Favorites, Freebies & They’re Real! Review

It’s Friday! I have so many great things to share today. I am compiling them (most of them anyway) into one easy to shop post.

Five for Friday Favorites

I have been doing a lot of beauty shopping (and unboxing) these past few weeks. Here are a few of my favorites:

Instablur by The Body Shop – If you buy one thing this week, I’d make it this one. I absolutely love this product. It’s a primer, but so much more. It’s a must-have for oily or combination skin.

I work at home so I usually shower in the morning but I may not put on makeup and leave the house until late afternoon or early evening. I can put the Instablur on without rewashing my face and it instantly absorbs any shine and keeps it away for hours. I love it! Even in the heat it keeps your skin looking even in color and provides that “photo finish” we’re all after these days.

Seaweed Mattifying Day Cream by The Body Shop – With colder weather coming even us oily skin girls need a good moisturizer. This one does just what it says. It leaves a nice matte finish. The Body Shop’s Seaweed line is amazing!

They’re Real! Mascara – This sample came in my recent GLOSSYBOX. I’m pretty loyal to Tarte Lights, Camera, Flashes, but I wanted to give this one a try. Here is the head-to-head result.

I still think Lights, Camera, Flashes is the winner, but They’re Real! is a great everyday mascara.

Leila Lou by Rosie Jane – I got this rollerball perfume sample in a recent Little Lace Box. It’s heavy on the jasmine and I absolutely love it! It’s my new signature scent.

Yes to Grapefruit CC Cream – I picked this CC Cream up at Birchbox recently and I really like. Some people say they don’t care for the scent. While it’s a little strong, I don’t think it’s bad. It has some anti-aging properties as well.
