February POPSUGAR Review: Happy Valentine’s Day
I love that many of the subscription boxes made sure their boxes were arriving the week of Valentine’s Day. Not only was it nice to get a few gifts, we’re also going to get to put to use many of our goodies during today’s celebrations.
POPSUGAR Must Have arrived yesterday. This box was obviously created with Valentine’s Day in mind!
So POPSUGAR boxes are almost always pink. It’s what was inside that was so “lovely.”
Cutting boards are not so unusual in subscription boxes. I have received several over the past couple years. I didn’t have a heart-shaped one though. This ACME Party Box Company Bamboo Heart Cutting Board also came with a cheese knife.
This BaubleBar Mini Arrow Pendant Necklace is so cute. It’s dainty and silver with pave detailing. Also included in the box was a 30% off coupon code on a future BaubleBar purchase.
Rose is one of my favorite scents of all time. This Rose Water Bubble Bath from U.S. Apothecary smells so good. And it’s a nice big bottle as always (POPSUGAR rarely, if ever, sends samples).
Chuao Chocolatier has been a frequent feature in sub boxes lately. This was our first time receiving the rocky road variety. Honestly, we didn’t like it. Maybe we just aren’t big fans of marshmallows.
We got some really great beauty products in this box. My favorite! Figs & Rouge was a new brand to me. It’s 100% natural. I believe this lip balm came in several flavors, mine was Wild Cherry. while it was big scent there was no flavor. That’s a bummer.
This Sally Beauty FingerPaints Nail Color was a bonus item. While I loved this color – it’s very “ruby slipper” – I didn’t think the quality was the best. It’s definitely quick-drying, but even with two coats I found the coverage wasn’t there.
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush was a nice surprise. I love the pretty pink color.
