February From the Lab Review: Rejuvenating Face Cream
The February From the Lab box arrived over the weekend. This is a unique subscription beauty box in that you aren’t receiving samples and you aren’t receiving well-known beauty brands. You are getting the opportunity to try new products before they hit the market – and a 30-day supply.
With From the Lab you never know if you will be receiving one item or several. This month we had one goodie to try. It was a face cream. Not too surprising we would get just one this month as face creams tend to be one of the more expensive products in a beauty routine.
Since we don’t know the brand or the final name, From the Lab just tells us a number. Rejuvenating Face Cream No. 594 Plus was our product to try.
The ingredients list includes Senestem, Neodermyl and Tamarind Seed Gum. These ingredients are supposed to have anti-aging benefits. Among the claims for No. 594 Plus are improved hydration, elasticity, smoothness and a firmer appearance.
This is a nice thick cream. It has a lot of moisture which isn’t something I necessarily need. I have oily skin to start with so this isn’t a product I would use in the morning. It is something I would consider for a night cream however.
What I will be using it for at the end of the day is a hand cream. Our hands are one of the most overlooked parts of our beauty routine – and one of the quickest to show age. This is a great product for injecting that extra bit of moisture, removing wrinkles and lightening dark spots.
