February Essential Oils Haul (and how I plan to use them)

I have been anxiously awaiting my February Young Living order to arrive. There were some awesome promotions going on this month and this was my first opportunity to expand on the Everyday Oils I received in my starter kit. I got so much great stuff! I had to share.

Let’s start with the big stuff. In my starter kit we received a couple samples of the NingXia Red. This is a yummy red drink made from a blend of wolfberry, blueberry, aronia, cherry, pomegranate, and plum juices, natural stevia extract, grape seed extract, pure vanilla extract, and orange, yuzu, lemon, and tangerine essential oils. It supports your overall health and you only need to drink an ounce or two per day. One bottle should last you around 3 weeks. I bought a box full to share with a couple other people. (Always a great way to cut down on your costs – buy in bulk and split it up.)
Lavender Hand & Body Lotion was a freebie this month with qualifying order. It smells great.
Thieves Mouthwash is a replacement for the bottle I ordered last month. It tastes great and leaves your breath fresh. Next month I need to remember to buy two bottles. And the toothpaste which my husband neglected to request until after I placed my order.
Thieves Floss is new and is made with peppermint and thieves oils. Two of my favorites!
Now onto all those bottles…

I’m going to bounce around because a few of these I ordered to use together and didn’t line them up as such.
Rosemary and Cedarwood are two oils I have been hearing a lot about in regards to awesome hair. And that’s exactly how I intend to use them though they do have additional benefits as well (you can experience all of the benefits no matter where you apply them though). My husband is crazy excited about these two.

Eucalyptus Globulus probably doesn’t need much explanation. This is the strongest of the current three Young Living eucalyptus oils. Breathe it deep or apply it to muscles after exercising. This is one of the ingredients in those menthol camphor products I love so much so this one shouldn’t last long once I hit up Pinterest.
Taste of Italy and Thyme were two more of the February gifts with purchase. I don’t see Taste of Italy available for purchasing on the site though they did include a pesto recipe on the info card. Thyme has a lot of uses, but cooking seems to be the theme this month so we will stick with that.

Sacred Frankincense is for my stash. If you haven’t read some of the case studies on frankincense, you should. Go Google it now. Then order some. Frankincense and Sacred Frankincense are often out of stock. Get them while you can and hang onto them. As long as you store them in a cool, dark place with the lids closed they can last for years and years and years. P.S. You get a bottle of Frank with your premium starter kit.
Valor I opened and slapped on my wrists right away. This one is supposed to give you internal strength and courage and can help ease anxiety. It smells great. It is a blend of frankincense, rosewood, blue tansy and spruce.
Peace & Calming was one we received a small sample of in our starter kit and then it was out of stock. It’s a wonderful smell and my husband’s favorite to diffuse before bed.
I also invested like $3 for the essential oil labels. I bought an oil carrying case off Amazon earlier this week and these will help me identify them without having to pull them out of the case one by one.

So there’s my haul. Now, if you will excuse me, I need to hit up Pinterest for some more recipes and I think I just heard the UPS man pull up. It must be my birthday. ![]()
