How Does Beautyfix Work?
This beauty box program is a little different in that it is not a monthly subscription, but rather seasonal. Four times per year the panelists choose the season’s best beauty products for you to try. They guarantee at least 10 products to choose from – there were over 40 this season – and you can pick 8 items to try for only $49.99 (free shipping). You can read the product description, panelist feedback and ingredient list prior to selecting your items. Similar to Beauty Army, this program is great for those who like to be in control of their subscription.
Is Beautyfix Worth the Money?
Most of the products to choose from are full size. By choosing eight, you are certainly going to get your money’s worth. Most of the Beautyfix reviews from regular subscribers state an average retail value of around $250, though the website states you could receive up to $400 in product depending on your choices.
Even some of the sample-size products are worth the cost of a seasonal shipment alone. For example, one of my options was a .38 ounce jar of 3LAB’s M Crème. Dermstore sells the 2 ounce jar on their website for $260. This sample would cover my cost and I still have 7 more products to choose.
There is also a rewards program available that will allow you to get even more from the Beautyfix program. You can earn Dermstore gift cards, discounts and free kits by completing product surveys, referring your friends and more. This will allow you to continue to get those discovered products you love at a discount.
