My Community Box Review: July
We recently introduced you to My Community Box in our Behind the Box series. This is a regional quarterly subscription featuring items made in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. July was their second shipment.
In my box I found the following:
Carolina Red BBQ Sauce ($6) – One thing I love about regional boxes is the food!
Recipe 53 Jody’s Gourmet Popcorn (est. $2.50)
Handmade soap ($4.50) – We love handmade soaps. This one smells delightful.
Bug Off! Lotion Bar Natural Bug Repellent: 2 bars ($8 each) – Can’t wait to try these over the holiday weekend!
Froggie’s World headbands (est. $7.50)
My insert also has listed Lemon Coconut Bars and Nourishing Oil/Whipped Smoothie which were not included in the box. Was this an oversight or were these alternate items? I’m not sure.
My Community Box runs $30 and is shipped every three months. Order now to catch the next shipment in October. The Fundrazr campaign is also still open for a few more days.
