My October Birchbox arrived this morning. It seems a little early considering my husband’s Birchbox Man came just a few days ago. Regardless, I’m happy it is here! This month’s theme was “Beauty Buzz” and the previews looked great.

My October Birchbox included:

12 Benefits Instant Healthy Hair Treatment – This one says it is a treatment, but the instructions sound more like a protectant (apply before blow drying or swimming). It can be used on wet or dry hair.

Alison Raffaele Reality Base Foundation – This foundation provides really good coverage. I received Skintone 3 which is a little light for me right now but should be fine as the summer tan fades.

dr. brandt Microdermabrasion Skin Exfoliant – Really excited about this one. My husband has been receiving exfoliants recently but this is my first of the season. Definitely a product I will use!

theBalm cosmetics Stainiac in Beauty Queen – This one had me a little apprehensive. Stains can be a little frightening. I really like this one however. The color is very natural and not “clownish” in the least. Use it on the lips or cheeks.

Birchbox Find: ChapStick Hydration Lock – Always happy to see a little something extra. This one is a vanilla cream flavor and is arriving just in time for cooler months.
