Birchbox Man March 2013 Review
The March 2013 Birchbox Man box has arrived already. This shipment had a March Madness theme. As usual, the box included both product samples and lifestyle bonuses. Let’s take a look.
My husband’s Birchbox Man shipment included:

I’m pretty bummed about this box. I peeked at the contents prior to the box arriving and was looking forward to checking out the bottle opener. The reason I took all of the pictures with the note card this month was so that you can see just how small everything is. The bottle opener is cute, but it is tiny. It fits in the palm of your hand. I wouldn’t pay $14 for it.
On to the product samples… we subscribe to so many subscriptions because we love the “lotions and potions.” We love the samples included in this month’s box, but I wish there were more of them. I wish Birchbox would give us the option to either pay less for a subscription WITHOUT lifestyle bonuses or allow us to choose a subscription that included more product samples for the same price.
There are so many great men’s products out there. I wish Birchbox Man included more of them for us to try.

I would have been disappointed in that box, too. Maybe including either the bottle opener or the coasters would have been OK, but two items that aren’t really the products you signed up for is a bit overkill. Most people either already have those items, don’t need them, and don’t want them.
Maybe next time, Anna. Hopefully I can find one that is a little more of what we are looking for.
