August Starbox Review: Doll House
Starbox is a makeup subscription box featuring Starlooks cosmetics. This one falls into the cheap subscription box category costing only $15 (plus shipping) per month. And they ship full-size products.
August’s theme was Doll House. This month’s box featured only two items. However, the value was $62.
The August Starbox included:
Starlooks Liquid Eye Liner – This has been Year of the Eye Liner. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out I have received upwards of three this year from all of my regular subs. And this one is black. I’m sure it will find a happy home somewhere down the line.
Starlooks Blush Compact – This compact includes three full-size blushes. The card tells me not to be afraid of these dark colors. It’s time for experimentation and contouring. Sorry, card. I’m a little scared. These colors are a little too dark for my complexion and definitely more towards the warm brown colors when I usually wear cool pinks. (Value: $46)
This would be an awesome box for someone – just not me. I’ve been super happy with all of the Starlooks products I have received to date, I just wish there was more customization when it came to the products and especially colors. It’s still a bargain however! I pay only around $17.50 after shipping.
