August Hatchery Review & Coupon

There was recently a deal on Living Social for Hatchery. This is an artisan food box shipping small batch ingredients and recipes monthly. This one isn’t too expensive in comparison to some of the others so I picked up a box on sale. It arrived this weekend.

Hatchery Review

This box was so well-packed. All of the items were individually wrapped. The box was right up our alley!

Causey’s BBQ Sauce – I LOVE receiving barbeque sauce in the mail. We go through a ton of it and each BBQ on an almost weekly basis. Some households have Taco Tuesday. We have BBQ Saturday. This is a sweet Georgia-style. Yummy.

Potlicker Kitchen Spiced Red Wine Jelly – This is a spicy Burgundy wine jelly. I’m saving it for maybe a meatball sauce.

Ole Man’s Original Blend Spice Rub – Yes! More barbeque stuff. This spice rub is sweet and smoky. BBQ Chicken is on next Saturday night’s menu already.

Ohia Lehua Honey – Honey is one of those items, like coconut oil, that you should never turn away. It has so many uses and health benefits. This one is so creamy and mild.

Jalapeno Garlic Olive Oil – I haven’t tried this one yet because I am a little frightened. The recommended recipe is roasted cauliflower leek soup with garlic croutons. The pepper flavor is supposedly to be a lot milder in infused oil. We’ll see.

Fuego Salsa – I really, really like this salsa. It is very fresh and mild. It’s also very thick – just how I like it.

We loved Hatchery and would definitely get it again. It’s regularly $25 per month. You can save $10 on your first month with code START10.
