August Bestowed Review: Back to School
Bestowed is one of my favorite foodie subscription boxes. They send some amazing healthy snacks. This month they offered to send over a box for our review. August’s theme was “Back to School.”
Bestowed boxes are always packed and heavy. Inside this box we found:
Funley’s Super Crackers – There were two little packages of these crackers; Cheddar N’ Stuff and Cornbread N’ Stuff. They are 100% natural and the perfect size for a lunch box. They are also only 100 calories each!
Good Green Bars – This is a chocolate-flavored bar. It’s vegan, organic and low glycemic.
Ocean’s Halo Seaweed Chips – These are spicy! I’m not a big fan of seaweed but my husband will eat them. The chips are protein packed and gluten-free.
Orgain Kids Nutritional Shake – This little chocolate shake actually has 10 fruit and veggies in it. It’s also gluten-free with the carbs coming from brown rice. What a great nutritional shake with 23 vitamins and minerals. Sure beats chocolate milk.
Plum Organic Mashups – This isn’t a new discovery, but my husband loves these tubes for on-the-go snacking. They are 100% organic fruit with no added sweeteners or artificial ingredients. You can find these in most health good and grocery stores.
unburn Sunburn Relief – The next three items were bonus products so there was no product info in the brochure. This sunburn lotion does have lidocaine for pain relief. This one would be great to have on hand.
Peeled Apple Clusters – These yummy gluten-free clusters are only 60 calories and a full serving of fruit.
Meyer’s Dish Soap – Perhaps my favorite item of the box! I’ve never tried Meyer’s products but have heard great things. This dish soap has a lemon verbena scent.
Also included were some great coupons. Freebie coupons, my favorite, for Suja Juice and Maia Yogurt and $1 the Halo chips and Funley’s.
