April Birchbox Review: Rifle Paper Co. Collaboration

For the month of April, Birchbox hooked up with Rifle Paper Co. This company makes from gorgeous stationery. They also created a beautiful springtime box for this month’s features. I loved the springtime colors.

But, it’s just not about the box now is it? Birchbox has been letting us pick a sample each month for awhile now. This month I opted for the POP Beauty Eyeshadow Palette in Peach Parfait. The rest of the items were a surprise.

Beaver Professional Hydro Nutritive Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner – I like getting shampoo and conditioner samples – as long as they aren’t foil packets that is. These are a nice size. Perfect for summer travel.

Atelier Cologne in Vanille Insensee – This is a soft, delicate fragrance featuring vanilla, jasmine and lime. It’s perfect for summertime as it isn’t too overwhelming. Birchbox features this brand of fragrance often and we have really liked everything so far.

POP Beauty Eyeshadow Palette in Peach Parfait – This is a full-size palette with three pastel colors. It is a shimmer for those of you that don’t like those. The retail value on this item alone is $26.

LAQA & Co Lip Lube Pencil – I haven’t cared for the LAQA & Co pencils I have gotten in the past, but this is a semi-sheer, buildable color. And it smells minty! It is a little on the purple-side, so we will see how I like it after a few wears.

I have to admit I wasn’t real excited about the April box when I saw the sample selection, but I’m pleased with the box I received. For $10, this one is a pretty good value. Start your subscription here.
