April Birchbox Man Review

Time for some Dude Reviews! With the occasional exception is seems as though my husband’s boxes arrive at the end of the month and mine at the beginning. My husband has a couple on the way, but let’s peek into the April Birchbox Man box – because that’s what wives do. They open their husband’s boxes.

The first thing I noticed about this month’s box was the size. It’s about twice as big as usual. Always a good sign, right?

My husband’s April box included:

Davines Naturaltech Energizing Shampoo – This shampoo is “high-octane” according to the card. You leave it on for 3 minutes! It also says it increases circulation so I bet it’s tingly. You know I’m trying it.

English Laundry Oxford Bleu – The cologne hoarder will be happy this month! This one smells a lot better than the last English Laundry sample. Very clean with lemon overtones.

Hanz de Fuko Claymation – Interesting. This is a hair styler and the card states when applied to dry hair it leaves a matte finish. Not a look you’re usually going for so I’d stick with the wet application.

Vasanti BrightenUp! Exfoliating Cleanser – I believe I have received this product in a sub box in the past and really liked it. It’s not an everyday cleanser. Just use it a few times per week.

Apolis Transit Issue Travel Candle – I continue to be puzzled by the travel candle idea. Who does that? Regardless we will use it at home. I do think the $30 price tag for a travel candle is stretching it however.

With the exception of the Claymation, I think everything here will get used up rather quickly. What did your husband get this month?
