Energy Supply Co. : Energy Drinks
Energy Supply Co. sent me some energy drinks to sample and review. Since I don’t really drink energy drinks often I decided to give them to a friend of mine who actually drinks them everyday and would be able to give an educated and honest review based on his extensive energy drink knowledge (my extensive knowledge would fall in the wine category…stay tuned for that review coming soon!! ) The drinks are numbered 1 through 6, one being his favorite and 6 being his least favorite.
No Fear Citrus : #1. (MOST FAVORITE)
Poured it over ice. Was foamy and fizzy. The taste was smooth, not too sour. It tasted very good. Not too sugary and energy was fine, no crazy high. No drop off. I would drink it again.
Quad Energy : #2.
Tastes was really good and tasted kind of like the regular Rock Star. Orange twist flavor was ok. No noticeable boost in energy. Steady alertness. Wasn’t happy about it being 240 cals, feel like it could be less.
Cocaine Spicy Hot : #3.
Tastes a little like cough medicine with a chaser of Tequila. That peppery taste hit the back of my throat. Energy level was fine. No crash. Not too sure of the pepper flavor.Wasn’t horrible.
Cocaine : #4.
Consistency was like drinking cough medicine. It was very syrup like. I didn’t mind the taste of it, just the consistency. Reminded me of the Red Bull Blue with 10 times the sugar. I did notice an increase in energy. Not jittery, just AWAKE more. No noticeable crash. Felt like an extreme sugar boost.
BeastUp : #5.
Tastes like 7Up with no carbonation. It was a little bitter. I personally wasn’t a fan of the flavor but the energy level was fine, no crash.
28 Black : #6.
I didn’t like the taste of this. A little rusty tasting with some berry juice. Saw the note that said “no taurine”. Not sure what that did for it. No real energy boost. Very tired about an hour after drinking. Crashed hard. My least favorite.
