Tatcha is a brand that I have been hearing about for a while now but just hadn’t gotten around to trying. Cut to me sitting on the couch completely zoned out watching Tatcha on QVC (skincare tutorials always win me over) and literally wanting EVERY.SINGLE.PRODUCT.
I had to talk myself out of basically ordering everything and settled on these 3 items with help from the host and founder. Victoria (the founder and CEO) said her favorite product was The Essence plumping skin softner so that went into my cart. I knew I had to try the water cream because it looks and sounds amazing and then the rice enzyme powder was another fan favorite.
The water cream is an interesting product and before I tried it I thought it would leave my skin dewy and illuminated. It is actually a creamy texture that goes on smooth but leaves my skin more of a matte finish. It’s very light weight and fresh feeling which is nice. My only problem is I typically need an SPF in a daily moisturizer so it basically adds a step in my routine. I love the idea of applying wild rose, leopard lily, and HADASEI-3 Complex, a complex of green tea, mozuku algae, and rice to my skin. Realistically I’m not sure I will continue using unless I see some serious results. The cute little gold spoon is a bonus that helps you measure out just enough because a little goes a long way!
The classic rice enzyme powder is a fabulous product. I have been using an exfoliating cleansing powder already but have to say this one is silky and foams up very easily and is not abrasive or harsh. Using an exfoliator is mandatory and I personally think washing with one once a day is even a must. Brightening up the skin and improving the texture is typically my priority with skincare.

The Essence is such a sweet surprise. This product probably wouldn’t have appealed to me if I wasn’t watching QVC. The demonstration is what sold me. This product basically goes below the top layers of skin to prep skin and plump skin for moisturizer. I’m obsessed and would highly recommend it to keep skin hydrated, promote smooth skin and help moisturizer absorb into skin faster.
