Soaps can be such a unique and perfect gift. With the holidays coming up, I thought this box was a great contender for that person you have no idea what to buy for. All the soaps are made with all natural ingredients and smell amazing! What makes these particular soaps kind of special? The company is very earth conscious and they are making a difference in their community by supporting Second Harvest Food Bank and Heifer International. Pretty Good also cares about reducing waste:
“We do our best to reduce waste by using recycled packing material, buying in bulk and using as little chemicals as possible. We’re making an effort to use recycled paper and fabric to wrap our soaps and using home grown ingredients when we can. Oh yeah, we’re getting goats next year and we’re going to use their milk to make soap.”
The soaps I was sent were Apple Ale, Blackberry Sea Clay and Cranberry Fig. All 3 smell so good that they could be used as potpourri in a room. They are very fragrant which is always the first thing I notice when shopping for soaps.
The Apple Ale soap is not made with beer, but it has heavy dose of cinnamon with apple ale undertones. The Blackberry Sea Clay and Cocoa Butter soap smells like berries and is made up of detoxifying sea clay and moisturizing cocoa butter. There are dark marks in the soap which is clay. And lastly the Cranberry Fig soap is a popular one made with olive oil and the scent of figs and cranberries.
Check out their website at www.prettygood.me … the holidays are around the corner!
(Just an fyi the soaps do not come in any fancy wrapping or box because as you read above they try to eliminate waste. If you do purchase as a gift you may want to make sure you don’t mail directly to the person so you can add those special details yourself before you gift it!!)
