Bestowed is a healthy-snacking box. They kindly sent over a box for our review this month, and have offered a free box to one lucky reader!
This one of our favorite foodie boxes. Not only are the boxes curated under the guidance of certified dietitian and nutritionist Heather Bauer, they also always include a lot of gluten-free goodies – something we are particularly interested in. And have I mentioned how packed these boxes usually are?
Inside the February box I found:
Morning Sunshine Breakfast Cookie in Dark Chocolate Flax – I eat oatmeal almost every morning for breakfast so I “get” the whole breakfast cookie thing. They are great for on-the-go and you are still getting all that fiber and protein. This one is a really nice size and less than 300 calories.
Honey Stinger Organic Sour Kids Chews – I’m not a big chew eater, but my husband likes these. They are high in Vitamin C and potassium. We also received a coupon for Honey Stinger and information on their waffles which I’m really interested in trying.
Numi Tea in Indulgent Chocolate – I’m a big tea drinker, but I’m never had chocolate tea. It’s a really cool alternative to curb those sweets cravings after dinner – without the calories.
Hammer Nutrition’s HEED – This is a workout drink that provides complex carbs needed for energy. It’s gluten, dairy, wheat and simple sugar free.
I Heart Keenwah Quinoa Cluthers – We have tried these before and they are pretty yummy. This sample was cranberry cashew. It’s a great little snack – a little sweet, a little salty.
Natralia Dry Skin Lotion – Every once in a while a body care product is also thrown in. This is a nice wintertime lotion suited well for even those with eczema and psoriasis. I only wish it was a bigger size. Not much here to sample.
Simply Organic Steam Gourmet Kit – We have gotten main dish kits in Bestowed in the past. This is a paprika chicken meal kit that contain 2 parchment bags and 2 seasoning packets. Very cool. I eat chicken a lot! Add the seasoning to your chicken and veggies and cook in the bag for a no-mess meal.
Plum Organics Plum Vida – My husband loves Plum Organics. Fruit pouches are such an easy snack when traveling. This one includes not just fruit but also veggies. And they are only 70-90 calories per pouch!
Nature’s Bakery Fig Bar – I broke into these right away. We got a blueberry flavor. Very moist and chewy.
Bestowed is $20 per month, and well worth it in my opinion. There is always so much in these boxes, and lots of new brands and products consistently.
