I love a good foodie box. And I love chicken – a little too much per my husband – so this month’s Hamptons Lane box is right up my alley. This month’s theme was centered on the parody cookbook [easyazon_link asin=”0385345224″ locale=”US” new_window=”default” nofollow=”default” tag=”beautyboxreview-20″ add_to_cart=”default” cloaking=”default” localization=”default” popups=”default”]Fifty Shades of Chicken[/easyazon_link].
If you are new to Hamptons Lane their boxes are always themed and usually provide you with a nifty kitchen tool and the spices or sauces to create a few recipes (also included). This is also one of the subscriptions that let’s you see what will be in the upcoming box so you can skip if it’s not something you’ll use. That’s always nice.
Now, back to the box…
The Fifty Shades of Chicken cookbook was included. It contains 50 mouth-watering recipes. The pictures are amazing and I don’t see anything too threatening at first glance. I see a lot of common ingredients which is always a main concern.
Next up was a [easyazon_link asin=”B00004UE7S” locale=”US” new_window=”default” nofollow=”default” tag=”beautyboxreview-20″ add_to_cart=”default” cloaking=”default” localization=”default” popups=”default”]Norpro Nonstick Vertical Poultry Roaster[/easyazon_link]. This was a lot more inexpensive than I expected. The reviews are decent though and I’m always up for non-stick roasters. And this is the optimum way to roast a bird. Nice crispy skin all around and juicy on the inside.

This stuff smells awesome. And it’s really pretty with the pink peppercorns. A good one for Valentine’s Day, don’t ya think?
[easyazon_link asin=”B00FPW385C” locale=”US” new_window=”default” nofollow=”default” tag=”beautyboxreview-20″ add_to_cart=”default” cloaking=”default” localization=”default” popups=”default”]Lemon Zest Flake Salt[/easyazon_link] was also opened immediately. I had it on some vegetables for dinner. Lemon goes with almost anything.
A whole ball of Chicken Trussing Rope was included. Nice! I like when the stuff lasts for more than one meal. Most of this box will.
Calivirgin Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a welcome addition. I am only using olive oil and coconut oil these days and flavored oils go quickly. Again, think beyond just chicken. This one will also work great with veggie.
The value was on par with the investment ($47). We will get our money’s worth back out of it as we have with the spiralizer we received last month. You can save $10 when you sign up through this link.
