This is our second Quarterly box from Melissa Joulwan and we are. in. love. This is a Paleo/Clean Eating subscription box featuring kitchen tools, food items and other cool stuff to make your healthy eating habits more enjoyable. This box had some really cool stuff in it, so less talk and more pictures!
I’ve been peeking at the spoilers so I knew at least one item that was to be in this box, and I was terribly excited about it.
I freaking love this mug! Not “love.” LOVE! It is so stinkin’ cool. My husband was at home when the box arrived and he insists he needs one as well, but in black. Luckily I see them on Amazon. Buying!
Anyway. Back to the show. Also in the box:
Yawp! bar – This is a nut bar with dates and spices. I turned around for one second and it was gone so I didn’t get to try it. My husband said it was really good though. 😉
Cyprus Sea Salt – I’m really intrigued by this salt, and a little intimidated. It’s mixed with activated charcoal – giving it the black color I presume. We all know charcoal is good for detoxing. Melissa promises it isn’t scary.
Tega Earl Grey Rooibos – I am a tea lover. Unsweetened, please. This one is a great blend with bergamot, orange and rooibos. Smooth and delicious.
Your Knight in Egging Armor – How stinkin’ cute is this? Eggs are a big part of the Paleo diet. Put your hard or soft-boiled egg in here and you won’t need to worry about it rolling away while you are trying to eat it. So adorable!
Also included in every box is an information sheet to let you know more about each product in the box and why it was chosen. Melissa also includes recipes on the back. This time around we have Lazy Weekend Maple-Pumpkin Pancakes, Quick Weekday Pancakes and how to make Egg-Cellent Yolks. Hungry yet?
It’s been hit and miss with some of our past Quarterly curators, but this one we truly look forward to and use every last thing in the box. You can order it here.
